The "OIZ Electrical Distribution Infrastructure Installation" project, carried out in 2002 at Boya Vernik OIZ’s facilities in Istanbul, was designed to meet the specific needs of the paint and varnish sector. As part of the project, medium and low voltage distribution systems were installed with an installed capacity of 20MVA, creating a secure electrical infrastructure suitable for chemical production.

Taking into account the special requirements of the chemical industry, distribution centers, transformer substations, relay systems, and cable ducts were established. The project included special precautions against explosions, and all systems were successfully tested and commissioned within 2002. This work provided safe and uninterrupted energy for the paint and varnish production facilities of the OIZ.
