The hangar electrical infrastructure project, carried out between 2023 and 2024 at Sabiha Gökçen Airport for Redstar Aviation, was designed to meet the high safety and uninterrupted energy requirements of the aviation industry. The scope includes the installation of 1 unit 1600kVA oil-immersed transformer, 3 medium voltage (MV) cells, 2,000 meters of MV cable, 12,500 meters of low voltage (LV) cable, and 16,000 meters of weak current cable.

To meet the critical energy needs of the hangar, compensation panels, LV distribution panels, UPS system, and busbar systems were installed. The project also includes lighting automation, fire detection systems, energy monitoring systems, lightning protection and grounding installations, and extensive weak current data systems. All systems were successfully tested and commissioned, establishing a modern electrical infrastructure that meets aviation industry standards.
